AND SO……IT BEGINS

And what a beginning!   From the bottom of my heart I want to say a big THANK YOU, to those of you who braved the lure of the Memorial Day week-end this past Sunday (May 27th) and showed up to spend a little time with the Living With Grace family for the first in our Lifestyle Choices / Honest Dialogue series.

It was a great success and I was moved by the openess and sincerity with which what  I  shared was embraced, as well as by the thoughtful questions and comments.  It was a wonderful “New Beginning” attended mostly by supportive friends who willingly journeyed with me to my past as I induldged them in the major health issues and emotional events of my life that led me to the discovery of the World of Wellness.

A world that beckons us all to take control and unleash the Power within that will allow us to become the healthy people we want to be.

Here I am sharing five things we can do to jumpstart the process.

1) read ALL food & beverage labels (incl. organic)

2) support local food campaigns like farmer markets, food co-ops,etc.

3) eat more green  & deeply colored vegetables & fruit (in that order)

4) refrain from drinking beverages with more than 10 grams of sugar

5) eliminate meat from your diet one day a week (i.e.meatless Mondays)

I’ll delve deeper into each one of these and how to achieve desired results Sunday, June 10,2012.  The best thing about these tips is they’re Free, all it cost is a personal committment and will to Do It

Sunday was a HUGE learning moment and personal victory for me.  I got the opportunity to not just keep talking about sharing information about health and healing, but to actually Do It!

For those who weren’t able to attend, we’ll be doing it again, Sunday June 10th, same time, same place, 345 Lenox Ave., 2 - 3:30 pm.  We look forward to seeing you there.

My job is to make sure we’re all exposed to the hidden information in hopes action will be taken to monitor the degree of abuse to our bodies so we can begin to heal them.

MERCY MERCY ME!    THE  LWG  BLOG  THEME SONG

Marvin was singing about our excesses in the 70’s…Check out the lyrics.

Woo ah, mercy mercy me

Ah, things ain’t what they used to be, no no

Where did all the blue skies go?

Poison is the wind that blows

From the north and south and east

Woo mercy, mercy me, mercy father

Ah things ain’t what they used to be, no no

Oil wasted on the ocean and upon our seas,

Fish full of mercury

Ah oh mercy, mercy me

Ah things ain’t what they used to be, no no

Radiation under ground and in the sky

Animals and birds who live nearby are dying

Oh mercy, mercy me

Ah things ain’t what they used to be

What about this overcrowded land

How much more abuse from man can she stand?

Oh, na na…

My sweet Lord…No

My Lord… My sweet Lord

WELCOME

TO

THE LWG BLOG

A safe haven rooted in honesty where we can and will freely explore the numerous possibilities available to all of us on our individual journey to an ever evolving qualitative, healthy, joyful and long life filled with LOVE.  Love for ourselves, Love for each other, Love for the Planet.

We will meticulously even sometimes humorously debunk the misinformation and sordid untruths that have held us prisoners far to long of Preventable Diseases of the mind, body and spirit, for the Profits of a few.

We will learn to take back our Power and consciously make committed choices that will reverse the damage done to our children and our world.

In the fall of 2007 I came across a short article in Ebony magazine that predicted this was the first generation of children who wouldn’t outlive their parents.  I was horrified and after I stopped crying….. Angry.

We should be outraged, embarrassed and chomping at the bit at this prediction. So it’s my guess we don’t really understand what it means for our future.

It is because of our absolute acceptance and participation in this Culture Of Make Believe, fueled by GREED, we allowed without any trepidation, Corporations to target as the enemy our most prized possessions while we were to busy consuming 50% of everything in the world to notice until the bottom fell out in 2008.

This blog is for those of us who choose to no longer live in Denial.  The road ahead will…be… overwhelmingly difficult…at times.  However, together we can get back on course.

We have an enormous amount of work ahead of us if we Choose to Save Our Children and the first step is EDUCATION.  We must become proficient in the language and tools to reverse, heal and prevent the diseases that are claiming our lives.
